Last Wednesday saw the launch of our pioneering "Smart Infrastructure Street Lighting" project in the district town of Dietzenbach. This pioneering project is a flagship project for the digital transformation of public infrastructures and opens up new, groundbreaking opportunities for local authorities. Our aim is to modernise and digitally connect existing infrastructures using highly integrative approaches.

Sensor-based information gains are intended to improve the efficiency and functionality of urban infrastructures, while smart data applications contribute to a more liveable and environmentally friendly urban life. The focus is on Dietzenbach's street lighting as a central infrastructure for digitalisation.

Together with our strong partners Signify, Smart City Solutions and PSI FLS Fuzzy Logik & Neuro Systeme GmbH, we are combining high-quality lighting technology with innovative control systems and a unique networking of IoT sensor technology. With the leading platform technology [ui!] UrbanPulse and the use of artificial intelligence, we are achieving optimised traffic control and other data-driven improvements.

We look forward to the inspiring realisation of this project and to accompanying the district town of Dietzenbach on its way to becoming a smart city! Incidentally, the state of Hesse has made appropriate funds available to support smart municipalities and regions, which will help the town in this endeavour.
